Our Mission
Our mission is to provide goat therapy to individuals with disabilities. We believe in the healing power of animals and their ability to bring joy and comfort to those in need. Through our program, we aim to create a safe and inclusive environment where people of all abilities can interact with our gentle and friendly goats. The presence of these animals has been known to reduce stress, increase relaxation, and improve overall well-being. Whether it's through petting, grooming, or simply spending time in their presence, our goat therapy sessions offer a unique and rewarding experience for individuals with disabilities. We are committed to promoting mental, emotional, and physical well-being through the therapeutic benefits of our beloved goats.
Our Services
Currently we provide mobile goat therapy to people with disabilities in Lebanon, Oregon, and the surrounding areas. We will bring a therapy goat to you at your facility, completely free of charge. In the future, we plan to expand our services by opening up our farm so that individuals and small groups can come and experience the benefits of goat therapy with our goats in their environment.
What we're proud of
Therapy goats are gentle and affectionate animals that have been found to provide immense benefits to individuals with disabilities.
Our Farm
Located on five acres in the beautiful Willamette Valley near Lebanon, Oregon, the Flip Flop Farm is the perfect oasis for our therapy goats.
Nigerian Dwarf goats are a small breed of dairy goats that originated from West Africa. They are known for their friendly and playful nature, making them popular as pets and companions. Despite their small size, Nigerian Dwarf goats are highly productive milk producers. On average, they can produce up to two quarts of milk per day, with a butterfat content of 6-10%. Their milk is also higher in protein and minerals compared to other dairy goat breeds. Additionally, these goats are highly adaptable and can thrive in various climates. Nigerian Dwarf goats are also known for their long lifespan, with some living up to 15 years. With their small size, high milk production, and friendly temperament, it's no wonder that Nigerian Dwarf goats are a beloved breed among goat enthusiasts.
